UPDATE! – 3/28/21 – No Excuses – 90 Day Fitness Challenge

Jason Rubeira writes – “Ok guys it’s been 2 weeks since I started this. I will admit this is harder than I originally thought it would be. With overtime being rampant at work and the kids busy schedules I haven’t really been consistently getting all my weekly workouts in. I’m not giving excuses but I’m just admitting the reality of life, particularly my life in general. As far as streamlining my food intake and alcohol consumption I have been consistent in maintaining what I need to do. I won’t say I’ve been perfect in the eating department (a couple of weak moments have gotten the best of me…. damn Oreos! Kids have the best snacks ?). I haven’t touched a beer since the end of February, instead I’ll have a glass of bourbon or red wine on the weekends. I give all the credit in the world to people like Kendyl who have that drive and determination to do this consistently throughout the year. People with this drive and determination are few and far between as we get older and I’m lucky enough to not only workout and learn from her but to share a life with her, She keeps me on point. So that’s my update for now…… if I can do this anyone can. I hope I can be an inspiration to someone out there reading this. At 45 it’s easy to use life as an excuse to not practice self care. But I look around and see two energetic 10yos and a 37yo energizer bunny I’m lucky enough to have in my life and I want to be healthy and happy for them as well as myself. Till next update…… ✌?

Although Jay has had life obstacles, the decision he made to get healthier is already giving him great results. He is down 11lbs. and feels more energetic while slimming down.
