Meet Jason Rubeira. A 46 year old man with a very busy lifestyle and schedule. Jason, like countless other men in their forties have found themselves becoming more and more complacent with one of the most important things most of us neglect, ourselves.
In his 20’s and 30’s his demanding military career as an ocean rescuer and corrections officer required staying physically fit effortlessly as a lifestyle. But just like so many approaching their 40’s, life takes us in different paths. Jason began a new career in government postal services where the position required less activity but consumed extended hours of the day where staying healthy wasn’t such a requirement. Going to the gym became harder and harder. Eating healthy was replaced by eating quickly and conveniently because of the daily taxation of stress and work. It happens so much quicker than we expect and we occasionally look back and think to ourselves “I’ll start on Monday”. And we know what happens next.
We move ahead with Jason’s story. Now in 2018 he begins a relationship with a very active woman with two spunky young twins and a very busy schedule of their own. As Jason makes it a priority to dedicate more time to keeping up with their lifestyle, the focus on himself once again is on the back burner. He didn’t expect life to happen this way. It just did. Career, age and family responsibilities became the forefront and his own wellness and health wasn’t in the balance.
Luckily that active woman that has become part of his life also becomes inspiration and motivation for Jason to realize that the missing piece in all this is dedication to himself. That’s where I come in.
March 8th, 2021, Jason has accepted a 90 day transformation training with KR Fitness and wants to share his journey with all of us.
